Before you start reading, talk about what has happened until now—the characters, themes, surrounding, places & challenges.
At this point, it’s catching up where you are & building excitement for what is about o be read.
After reading, go back over the story, its characters, themes, surrounding & places & ask where you think the story will take us.
This helps to build excitement for the next time to read.
Take at least 20 seconds + for each section, then slip it back into the book for the next time.
